A 65-year-old man from Townville has been charged after allegedly harassing several juveniles during a youth football game at the Clarion-Limestone School District, according to authorities.
ExploreClarion.com reports, Pennsylvania State Police responded to the district’s athletic fields on Saturday afternoon following reports of a suspicious man approaching students. Witnesses said he placed his hands on them while offering to demonstrate wrestling moves, school officials reported.
The students quickly alerted an adult, who confronted the man and prompted him to leave the area. He later returned in different clothing but was escorted from the property by a school administrator and turned over to state police, according to a letter sent to families by a school official.
Police confirmed that the contact was unwanted but non-sexual. The man has been charged with harassment involving physical contact.
The incident took place at the school sports complex on C-L School Road in Clarion Township. Police have not released the man’s name.
