Ramp and bridge work will start today on the Route 268 overpass in West Kittanning in Armstrong County.
PennDOT says that crews will begin working on the bridge that carries 268 over Route 422, and is expected to affect the Eastbound on-ramp to 268 and the Route 268 Eastbound on-ramp to 422. Temporary traffic controls will be set up this morning and will be in place until the 26th. In addition, work locations include Route 422 between Worthington Borough in Armstrong County and locations in Butler County as well.
If the weather prevents work from taking place, it will be rescheduled for September 29th to October 1st. The project is expected to wrap up by the end of Fall.
