Altoona was routed by the Erie Seawolves Friday night 8-4 at UPMC Park in Erie.
While Altoona held an early 2-0 lead, Erie was able to hit four homers over the first four innings to take the lead. Duce Gourson had one of his best games this season with four hits including a solo homer and two RBI’s. The six-game series continues tonight in Erie. Connor Weitgrefe will start for Altoona.
