People will be able to help out today with a litter pickup effort in Indiana Borough.
Today marks the second annual Indiana Litter Pick Up day. The effort was organized by James Rickard, who was inspired to put this effort together after seeing the amount of litter in his neighborhood. He said that last year’s effort was a successful one.
Those who want to take part can head over to the Indiana Borough Building at 80 North 8th Street between 9-11 AM to pick up gloves, a trash bag and a map of suggested areas. Dumpsters will be set up to dispose of the trash after collection.
