If you drive through Pittsburgh often, here’s something to keep in mind:
The city is set to roll out a new red-light enforcement program that could mean more traffic tickets for motorists. Pittsburgh City Council has approved the installation of red-light cameras at six intersections, with Arizona-based company Verra Mobility receiving a $14 million contract to set up the system this winter and operate it for the next five years.
Additional intersections will be added each year throughout the contract period.
