William Kenneth Wisor, Sr., 69, of Blairsville, Pa passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The son of William W. and Loretta L. (Kelly) Wisor, he was born November 26, 1947 in Indiana, PA.
Mr. Wisor was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Blairsville VFW Post #5821.
He had worked 35 years for the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, camping and dogs.
Surviving are his wife, of 46 years, Eleinor J. (Strum) Wisor whom he married August 22, 1970; three children, Lori Wisor of Palmerton; William Kenneth Wisor, Jr. (Linda) of Josephine and Virginia Jones of Blairsville; six grandchildren, Chris Wisor, Julie Wisor, Jesse Marsh, Brayden Chabot, Owen Chabot and Kenzi Wisor; four great grandchildren and a special aunt, Sandra Hayden of Blairsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
As per Mr. Wisor’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, with military services accorded by Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion Post #0407 will be held at a later date.
