UPDATE: O’Connor was found safe and sound late last night.
WHAT WAS FIRST REPORTED:
Troopers are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Blairsville-area man.
44-year-old Joshua J. O’Connor of Burrell Township was reported missing after leaving his home on Maple Avenue Extension around six o’clock Monday evening. A family member says O’Connor told them he was walking to the Sheetz on Route 22 to use the store’s Wi-Fi, but it is not known if he ever made it there.
O’Connor is described as a white male, 5-foot-6, about 215 pounds, with short brown hair, hazel eyes, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue or gray shirt and gray sweatpants.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
