A man is facing charges after allegedly colliding with multiple police vehicles during an incident in Butler County.
The events occurred last week when 35-year-old Matthew Thompson reportedly fled from police in Adams Township, who were attempting to serve a warrant near Route 228 and Seven Fields Boulevard. Thompson allegedly struck the police vehicles while fleeing and was eventually taken into custody after his vehicle went over a hillside and became lodged in an embankment.
Thompson now faces additional charges, including aggravated assault and escape.
