A woman has been taken into custody after allegedly driving into a Pennsylvania festival and striking three people.
According to police, the crash occurred Monday evening at the Kipona Festival in Harrisburg, where the woman hit a child, a city employee, and a woman in a wheelchair. Witnesses tell WHP-TV the woman drove through barriers and “anything in her way” before entering the festival on Cranberry Street.
Mayor Wanda Williams reported that the child is in critical condition. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
