Charles “Chuck” John Kass III, 66, of Indiana, PA died unexpectedly on Friday, August 29, 2025 at his home.
The son of Charles J. Kass II and Emma (Fisan) Kass, he was born on May 13, 1959 in Spangler, PA.
Chuck was a graduate of Northern Cambria High School. He worked as a salesman for forty-six years at various local businesses.
He was a fan of all sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs since the 1980’s. Chuck was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple things, such as visiting local restaurants and trying new dining establishments as they opened.
Chuck’s absolute favorite way to spend his time was with his family, whom he dearly loved.
A loving father and partner, Chuck is survived by his two daughters: Lisa M. Kass and partner Jon Smiley of Greensburg, PA and Emma C. Kass of Indiana, PA; his long-time partner: Denise (Carretti) Midkiff of Indiana, PA, the mother of Emma and Carson Midkiff and his three brothers: Tony, Joe and Danny Kass.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will be received from 4-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA.
