“ABNORMALLY DRY” CONDITIONS PERSISTS, BUT STILL NO DROUGHT DECLARATION

The National Integrated Drought Information System does not have any areas of Pennsylvania currently listed in drought, but many counties are “abnormally dry”, including an increasingly larger portion of Indiana County.  Just a few short weeks ago, the map showed only northern Indiana County suffering from dry weather.  Now, it’s 58.89 percent.
