A girl who was injured yesterday at the Indiana County Fair is recovering.
The incident happened during the Beef Show near the show arena. The victim, identified only as a young woman, was trampled by a competition steer and taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center by Citizen’s Ambulance for treatment.
According to fair board member Alton Strong, she suffered bruises and had the wind knocked out of her, but she was able to return to the fair later in the day.
