State Police have released details of a one-vehicle hit-and-run crash earlier this month in Armstrong County.
It happened around 11 p.m. on August 9 along Route 4007 near East Brady. Troopers say 20-year-old Joshua Eckel of Bruin lost control of his Ford pickup, struck an embankment, and left the scene.
Eckel was not wearing a seat belt and his injury status is unknown. The truck was heavily damaged and towed.
Eckel was cited for a tire equipment violation.
