Multiple fire companies responded to a Wednesday night apartment fire on the 70 block of Pickering Street in Brookville, with crews on scene for more than three hours.
The first call came in at 7:50 p.m., and firefighters remained until 11:00 p.m., according to Jefferson County 9-1-1. Agencies responding included departments from Brookville, Brockway, Reynoldsville, Summerville, Pine Creek, DuBois, and Jefferson County EMS.
Photos from the scene showed smoke pouring from second-story windows as firefighters used ladders and worked from the roof.
No information on injuries has been released.
