This year’s Little League World Series delivered a major economic boost for Pennsylvania.
The Lycoming County Visitors Bureau estimates the 2025 tournament generated roughly $40 million for the region. Officials said more than 70,000 people traveled to Williamsport for the event.
“Little League is a quintessential part of America — and I’m proud that Little League’s home is right here in Williamsport, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,” said Governor Josh Shapiro, who attended the championship game Sunday.
