Richard Leroy Long, 76, Marion Center went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 01, 2017.
Mr. Long was the son of William Clarence and Luella (Adams) Long, who was born January 16, 1941, in Twin Rocks, PA.
Richard attended Bethany Chapel. He loved the time he spent with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Surviving is his wife Judy (Martin) Long; children, Brian (Tonya) Long, Clymer, Kim (Ralph) Herring, Corry, PA, Gregory (Christi) Long, Spartansburg, Pa, Sue (Leonard) Kinney, Punxsutawney, Antje (Nigel) Robson, Perth, Australia; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Courtney, Zachary, and Christian Long, Krista, Kayla, Jordan, and Jenna Seeley, Ryan and Benjamin Long, Sarah, Rebekah and Caleb Kinney; great grandchildren, Blake, Ryleigh and Jace Long, Kevin Lewis, Olivia Krone, and Ariel Seeley; a brother, William Robert (Pearl) Long; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice; brothers, John, Tom, and Don; and a grandchild, Rachael Seeley.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. An additional hour of viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 am with funeral service to immediately follow with Rev. Brian King, officiating.
