Tonight is the kickoff to the 2025-26 United Way Fundraising campaign.
The campaign starts tonight with a special party at the Indiana Country Club pool area on Country Club Road from 5-8 tonight. Along with the lūʻau themed menu, there will be several themed activities at the event ranging from coconut bowling to the limbo. There will also be a 50/50 and a basket raffle going on. Also during the event, the campaign fundraising goal will be announced.
This year’s campaign co-chairs are Aaron Ludwig and Rob Heinrich. Ludwig said that funding has become more diverse as the United Way is no longer about supporting a core group of charities.
Last year’s campaign was a record-breaking year with over $900,000 raised. Heinrich complimented last year’s chair Clinton Smith, and said he looks to keep the tradition of successful fundraisers going.
After tonight, the next event on the United Way’s calendar will be a golf outing on September 8th.
