State police are continuing to investigate a case of Criminal Trespass over the weekend in White Township. Troopers say that four people unlawfully entered Apartment 1316 in The Traverse Commons Complex behind Regency Mall at 11:30 PM on March 26th. The apartment was not occupied, in fact, it was still under construction. Entry was made through an unlocked window. When Traverse Commons Maintenance staff confronted the four, all of them left the scene without incident. Anyone with information on this trespassing incident is asked to call police at 724-357-1960.
No injuries were reported in a crash Sunday night in Pine Township. State police say the crash was reported on School Street near Route 403 North. 37-year-old Brandon Morgan of Clymer was driving too fast for the section of winding road he was on, and the truck veered off the road and got stuck in a ditch. Morgan fled the scene, but police were able to locate him later on. He told police that he had swerved to miss a deer in the roadway.
