The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce is reminding people that a deadline for a grant for historic small restaurants is coming soon.
The grant is from the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express. The grants would be for $40,000 and will go to 25 historic restaurants across the nation to help improve, upgrade and preserve the exterior of the building and improve online business so that they can better serve their customers along with helping those restaurants financially recover and grow.
Not only can restaurants apply for the grant, but the groups are accepting nominations from the public as well. Applications are due by next Monday, April 4th.
