In a non-section game, Indiana dropped its season opener to Latrobe, 4-3. Zach Tortorella homered for Indiana and Lincoln Trusal and Steven Budash each added a double.
SOFTBALL
Indiana opened its season with a 15-14 section loss to Plum. Indiana’s seventh inning comeback fell one run short. Ashlynn Winslow homered for Indiana, Addie Stossel drove in three and Elizabeth Flanders added two RBIs.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
West Shamokin shut out Derry, 3-0.
