A new anchor store will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony today at the Indiana Mall.

Rural King will celebrate its grand opening today with a ribbon cutting at 10 AM and celebrations all day long. The farm supply store chain based out of Mattoon, Illinois, is in the former Kmart location in the mall. The shop supplies clothing, hardware, hunting and fishing equipment, mowers, live chicks and other farm and home items.
This brings the mall up to five anchor stores, including Kohls, JC Penney, Dunham’s Sports and Harbor Freight. As part of today’s celebrations, there will be giveaways and food trucks on hand. Also, Renda Media’s Andy Hart will be on hand for a remote broadcast from 11-2, which you’ll be able to hear on all Renda Media stations.
