Indiana’s boys golf team opened the 2025 season on Thursday at Penn State’s Blue Course, finishing fifth out of twenty-three AAA teams at 14 under par.
Austin Schawl led the four-man Indiana team with an even par 72, good for ninth in the individual standings. Drew Brocius shot 74, Ryan Bell 75, and Chace Force 81 for the Indians.
Indiana begins the dual match portion of its schedule with a non-section match against Fox Chapel at the Pittsburgh Field Club on Tuesday, then will host Hempfield in the first section match on Wednesday at the Indiana Country Club.
