The annual Indiana Optimist Club Tournament began yesterday with Homer-Center downing Purchase Line, 52-38. Homer-Center was led by Casey Harper with 15, Quentin Zenisek with 13, Angelo Alexander with 11 and Michael Krejocic with 10. For Purchase Line, Andrew Smarsh scored 14.
Central Cambria beat Northern Cambria, 46-42. Grady Snyder scored 17 to lead Central Cambria while Ty Dumm had 18 for Northern Cambria.
Today, Homer-Center will play River Valley at 8:15 pm, and Indiana takes on United at 7 pm. Central Cambria will face Penns Manor on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. In Wednesday’s first game, West Shamokin takes on Marion Center at 7 p.m.
