On Monday night, the Indiana School Board approved a revised health and safety plan.
Superintendent Michael Vuckovich said that the main part of the new plan was the fact that the weekly emails on Covid-19 to district parents would come to an end.
Other parts of the health and safety plan that were changed include asking the state Department of Health to take over contact tracing for the district and increasing the universal masking threshold. The item was not on the proposed agenda, but Vuckovich said that he wanted it added for last night’s meeting so that the changes will go into effect later this week when the fourth quarter of the school year starts.
In other business, the board approved the food service budget with Chartwells, which allows the administration to enter into a one-year contract with the food service company.
