The Indiana School District’s food service program will be discussed tonight at the Indiana School Board meeting.
On the proposed agenda for tonight are the prices for school breakfasts and lunches. The prices proposed by the Audit and Finance Committee are five cents higher for paid breakfasts and a ten-cent increase is recommended for paid lunches. The board will also take a look at the food service budget presented by Chartwells for next school year. That approval would also include allowing the district’s administration to enter into a year-long contract with Chartwells.
The Marion Center School Board is also scheduled for tonight. Its agenda has not yet been reported.
