Showers and thunderstorms will move across the area today, beginning this morning. By this afternoon, there is Marginal Risk (or level 1 out of 5) for severe storms with damaging wind. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible, which could result in localized flash flooding.
First round of showers and storms are moving through the area this morning. They could produce pockets of heavy rainfall (2″-3″ per hour). There will be a break in the middle of the day before we expect to see showers/storms develop late this afternoon.
