The Penguins take on the Detroit Red Wings at 5 o’clock this afternoon at PPG Paints Arena.
Evgeni Malkin missed practice yesterday due to illness and will be a game-time decision tonight. Malkin missed Friday’s game against the New York Rangers. His illness was termed “non covid-related.”
Jason Zucker returned to practice with his teammates yesterday for the first time since core muscle surgery in January. He’s not played in a game since January 17th, and that was after missing the seven previous games. He’s missed 35 of the last 36 Penguins games.
