The Steelers have signed linebacker T.J. Watt to a three-year extension worth $123 million, according to a Thursday afternoon report from Adam Schefter of ESPN. The contract guarantees $108 million at signing.
The deal would make Watt the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history at $41 million per year.
Watt, 30, is entering the final year of his current contract. He was selected 30th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft and has played in 121 regular season since then, missing just 11 games.
