PENGUINS IN A NEW YORK STATE OF MIND TO START ’25-’26 CAMPAIGN

The start of the Penguins season will have a definite New York flavor.  The NHL released the schedule for the ’25-’26 season yesterday.  After opening at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers on October 7^th, the Pens will play the New York Islanders in their home opener two nights later, then welcome Mike Sullivan and the Rangers on October 11^th.  That will be followed by the first West Coast road trip, at Anaheim, Los Angeles, and San Jose October 14^th, 16^th, and 18^th.

Other highlights of the schedule include a two-game road trip to Stockholm, Sweden, to play the Nashville Predators on November 14^th and 15^th.  The Pens’ traditional Thanksgiving Eve home game will be against Buffalo on November 26^th.  The NHL schedule goes on hiatus for the Olympics after the Penguins play Buffalo on February 5^th, with a return to action on the 26^th at home against the New Jersey Devils.
