Indiana County first responders were busy on Monday with nine calls for service, among them was a vehicle fire, two basement pumping tasks, and a vehicle crash.
A vehicle fire was reported on Airport Road in Cherryhill Township at 10:13 yesterday morning. Clymer Fire Department was sent out at the time. Two pumping details were also reported yesterday in the Center Township/Homer City area. The first was on South Main Street in Homer City Borough at 4:18 PM after heavy rainfall came through the area. The other call was on East 10th Street in Center Township at 11:58 PM. On both occasions, the Homer City Firefighters were sent to pump out the basements.
Indiana County 911 sent Indiana Fire Association members, state police and Citizen’s Ambulance to a crash on Indian Springs Road in White Township at 6:19 PM.
