The Penns Manor School Board was updated Wednesday night on preparations for the next school year. That included making sure the classrooms are clean for the first day of school.
Superintendent Daren Johnston said that with the start of the school year coming up next month, some members of the support staff were working double duty on school prep, and he wanted to thank them for their effort.
The first day of school is August 21st.
In other business, the board approved a sale of any unused district equipment by the administration through a sealed-bid process, and a contract to paint the MPR, exterior doors and elementary gym to Tom Talmadge Painting in the amount of $9950.
