The White Township Supervisors met today and offered an update to the roof replacement project.
The roof of the township building, as well as the salt shed was severely damaged in hailstorms that moved through the area in May. A temporary seal was put in place to prevent any leaks. Township Manager Chris Anderson says that they are still awaiting a report from the insurance company.
He says that while they wait for the report, they are actively looking into co-star approved contractors to take on the project.
Other business included the beginning of a traffic light replacement project at the Wayne Avenue/ Indiana Springs Road intersection. The supervisors approved a motion to get started, and Anderson talked about where they are in that process.
The Township Supervisors will meet again on July 23rd.
