Indiana’s celebration of the 4th of July is set for today at the Mack Park fairgrounds.
The YMCA of Indiana County’s 10th annual “Star Spangled Celebration” will start today at noon with a vendor show, kids zone and an apple pie contest. For adults, the beer garden opens at two with adult beverages supplied by Levity and Noble Stein. Three bands will play in the field next to the old ice rink, starting at 1:00 with Hot Weather Holiday, followed by Backstage Buffet Band at 3:00 and Somebody to Love at 5:00. Country artist Jarrod Berry will take the grandstand stage at 7:00. A veteran’s ceremony led by Sheriff Bob Fyock will take place at 8:30 between Berry’s sets.
Fireworks sponsored by Colonial Motor Mart will begin around 9:45.
Admission to the fairgrounds is $3 per person or $10 for the family.
