The Pirates offense was flat as they were shut out in a loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday night. Joe Block reports.
In his first game in the majors, Braxton Ashcraft went 3 innings and allowed only two hits, striking out one and walking one in the process.
The two teams will play again tonight. Mike Burrows is scheduled to start for the Bucs. He is 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA. The Diamondbacks will send Corbin Burnes, who is 3-2 with a 2.73 ERA. Airtime is 9:15 PM on WCCS with first pitch set for 9:40.
