Penns Manor senior Alex Polenik placed second in the discus at the PIAA Track & Field State Championships, which took place at Shippensburg University on Friday and Saturday.
Polenik’s discus throw measured 166 feet, 1 inch. He finished seventh in the shot put with a distance of 54 feet.
Sophomore Daniel Farrell of Northern Cambria placed third in the triple jump with a jump of 44-8.75.
