A bridge in Brush Valley and West Wheatfield Townships is closed after workers found damage to a steel beam during inspection.
PennDOT announced the closure of the Heshbon Bridge on Route 259 until repairs can be made to the bridge. To detour, motorists can use Route 259, Route 56 to Armagh, then Route 22 and back to Route 259. That detour has been posted.
No word yet on when that bridge will be reopened.
