The Penguins play in St. Louis tonight to face the Blues. The Pens had the day off yesterday for travel.
The Pens are the NHL’s best road team so far this season at 19-7-4. Forward Jake Guentzel says there really is no explanation for it.
Coach Mike Sullivan has made some subtle changes with his forwards and defensemen, including breaking up the long partnership between Kris Letang and Brian Dumoulin. Letang is now skating with Mike Matheson and Dumoulin is paired with John Marino, who says it’s been an easy transition.
Faceoff tonight is at 8 o’clock. The pregame airs on 92.5 FM U92 and the U92 Sportschannel at 7.
