The Jimmy Stewart Museum celebrated its 30th anniversary on Saturday, and in attendance was one of Jimmy’s daughters and the service dog that bears his name.

Stewart said her father would be overjoyed to know that his name lives on in a way that’s helping soldiers.
“Jimmy” the service dog’s training is progressing well in the two years since he was selected. Sue Watson with Warrior Canine Connection has been training him since December, and things have been going very well.
The Warrior Canine Connection trains service dogs to go to veterans as part of a mission-based trauma recovery model to help them reconnect with life, families, communities and each other. To find out more about their mission, log on to www.warriorcanineconnection.org.
