Clymer Borough Council met last night and approved a bid for a stream clean up project.
The $233,000 bid for the Two Lick Creek Stream Bank Clearing Project bid was awarded to Stash Contracting out of Waltersburg. This comes after the flooding on August 9th in Clymer Borough. Borough Manager Sonya Schrenkel says that the key to the project will be clearing brush off the bank of the stream.
The funding comes from the help of Senator Joe Pittman’s and Representative Jim Stuzzi’s office.
Other notable items included community yard sale days for borough residents. The sales will be held July 17th through the 19th.
