Some gas stations in Indiana County have dropped gas prices by ten cents over the last 24 hours as the national and state-wide averages continue to creep down.
According to Triple-A, the national average went down by another penny to $4.30 a gallon. The state-wide average this morning is two cents lower than yesterday at $4.39 a gallon.
Indiana County’s average is also going down, dropping three cents to $4.37 a gallon as of this morning, according to Triple-A. According to Gasbuddy.com, Sheetz gas stations in Indiana Borough, Homer City, Blairsville and Clymer have already dropped to $4.29 a gallon, a ten cent drop from where prices were yesterday. Gasbuddy is reporting this morning that other gas stations are reporting prices between $4.35 and $4.39 a gallon this morning.
Comparing Indiana County to the other counties in the region, Armstrong County’s average this morning is $4.31 a gallon, and Westmoreland is now at $4.32. Jefferson County’s average is $4.38 a gallon, while both Clearfield and Cambria counties have $4.40 a gallon averages.
Fayette County has the lowest county average in Pennsylvania at $4.30 a gallon, while Pike County remains the highest at $4.52 a gallon.
