The Pittsburgh Pirates defense and pitching gave up a lot of runs in the sixth inning en route to a 8-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers last night.
The Brewers were able to erase a six run deficit with three home runs in the sixth. The inning was doubly bad for the Pirates as reliever Edgar Santana and catcher Fransisco Cervelli were both taken out of the game with injuries.
The Pirates and Brewers play tonight after Pitt Football on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
