The Steelers drafted linebackers Jack Sawyer and Carson Bruener on Saturday, so with their linebacker room getting crowded, the team yesterday released veteran linebacker Thomas Rush, who never appeared in a game for them.

The NFL fined the Atlanta Falcons $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 over that prank call made to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL draft. Meanwhile, at least six other players said they, too, received similar prank calls, including Penns State’s Abdul Carter and Tyler Warren. The NFL is investigating.
