The NCAA Division II Men’s basketball tournament is set to take center stage today at the KCAC with a full slate of games for the Atlantic Regional.
The IUP men are the number one seed in the tournament, coming off Sunday’s PSAC championship win over Millersville by a score of 63-52. IUP’s opening round match will be against Fayetteville State, who are 21-8 and a win against Virginia Union in the finals of the CIAA tournament. It’s the third game in a slate of four that are scheduled.
12:00 p.m. – No. 3 Cal U vs. No. 6 Fairmont State
2:30 p.m. – No. 2 West Liberty vs. No. 7 West Virginia State
5:00 p.m. – No. 1 IUP vs. No. 8 Fayetteville State
7:30 p.m. – No. 4 Millersville vs. No. 5 Mercyhurst
If you are attending in person, Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for youth and seniors, and free with an I-Card for IUP students. That will get you into all four games today.
If you can’t make it in, you can listen on U-92.5 FM and the U-92.5 Sports Channel at u92Radio.com starting at 4:30 with the pre-game show.
Should IUP win, they will play the winner of Mercyhurst vs Millersville.
