The Steelers will have a closed practice today before heading to Philadelphia for tomorrow night’s preseason opener against the Eagles.
Antonio Brown was back with the team but not practicing yesterday as he continues to recover from an undisclosed injury. Coach Mike Tomlin ruled him out of the game tomorrow night, and also said Ben Roethlisberger, T.J. Watt, and Bud Dupree won’t dress for the game. Tomlin did not say who else might be sidelined for the opener.
The quarterback rotation will be interesting to watch. Tomlin says he intends to get all three backups, Landry Jones, Josh Dobbs, and Mason Rudolph, into the game.
