After a travel day yesterday, the Altoona Curve open a three-game series at Trenton tonight.
Manager Michael Ryan has not announced a starter for tonight’s game, but he is at least getting some new arms to consider as the Pirates promoted two pitchers from Bradenton yesterday. Left-hander James Marvel was a late-round draft pick out of Duke in 2015 after having Tommy John surgery. He was 9-6 with a 3,68 ERA for Bradenton. Righty Dario Agrazal returns to Altoona after an injury rehab assignment. He’s 3-2 with a 2.79 ERA for the Curve this year.
