Pitt was wiped out by Notre Dame, 78-54, for the Panthers’ fourth straight loss yesterday, dropping them to 11-20, and 6-10 in the ACC. Pitt shot only 3-for-26 from three-point range while the Irish were 14-for-23.
Pitt will open play in the ACC tournament on Tuesday at 2 PM against Boston College (11-19, 6-14 in the ACC). The Panthers and Eagles split two games this season. Pitt won by two at home and lost at BC by 13.
Tuesday’s game will be on WCCS at 1:30.
