State police in Punxsutawney are investigating a case of identity theft in Indiana County.
Police say on March 3rd, they received a report of an attempted identity theft in Canoe Township. The victim, a 29-year-old woman from Punxsutawney, had her identity used to open an unemployment claim. The investigation continues.
