WATER LINE BREAK DISRUPTS TRAFFIC ON NORTH 9TH STREET

A portion of North 9^th Street is closed for a water line break.

A portion of North 9^th Street is closed for a water main break.

The rupture was reported earlier this morning on an 8-inch diameter pipe installed in 1976.  Eleven customers have been affected along with the Grace Manor Senior Facility.  Water is being delivered to the senior center.

As of now, no personal property has been damaged.  They expect repairs to wrap up around 5:00 today.  They are working on managing traffic in the area.  North 9^th Street between Croyland and Fairman Avenues remains closed until the repairs can be made.
