In game one of the Youth Legion Championship Series, Punxsy held off Young Township for a 7-6 win.
Addison Neal led off the seventh with a single and, after a walk, scored the winning run on an error.
Young Township had rallied from a three-run deficit twice. Down 6-3, in the seventh inning, Young Township scored three runs on RBI singles by Ethan Prugh and Zack Wills, but they just fell short.
For Young Township, Brady Yard went 2 for 3, scored two runs and knocked in a run. Prugh and Wills each went 3 for 4 with two RBIs.
Addison Neal picked up the pitching win.
