The Pirates lost their fifth straight game Saturday, surrendering three runs in the seventh inning to fall to the Phillies, 3-2. The Bucs had led 2-0 after Starling Marte singled in a run in the first inning and homered in the third. Nick Kingham starts for the Pirates Sunday in the series finale.

In the minor leagues, Altoona’s Cole Tucker hit an RBI double in the sixth inning to help the Curve beat Trenton, 6-4. Cam Vieaux raised his record to 5-1 since his promotion from Bradenton last month. The Curve wrap the series with Trenton this afternoon.
